Information We Collect

You can submit your email address to CWLC through its websites for the purpose of participating in surveys and contests, and to subscribe to our electronic newsletters.

You will be provided an option when submitting personal information to share your personal information for external use. If you select this option, your information may be distributed to select third parties.

CWLC does not collect information from anyone who is younger than thirteen (13) years of age without consent from a parent or guardian.  CWLC does not sell or distribute any personal information collected from users who are under the age of thirteen (13).

Online Contests
CWLC occasionally sponsors online contests.  You will be asked to participate by providing your email address or other contact information.  If a user is under the age of thirteen (13), we also require the email address of his or her parent or guardian. We then send the child’s parent or guardian an email within 24 hours informing him or her of the child’s entry with the option to have their child’s entry and information deleted.

Share Your Story

There are places on CWLC websites to submit your own stories in written, audio, or video form.  CWLC reserves the right to edit your story and post it on any of its websites at its discretion.  When you submit a story to CWLC, you consent to its editing, posting and other use on behalf of CWLC’s goals and activities. You also agree to comply with CWLC’s Terms of Use.

Internet Protocol Address

CWLC may collect and track your IP address for system administration purposes to determine how frequently our websites are visited.  CWLC does not use IP addresses to determine who is visiting its websites.


CWLC may use cookies to enhance your experience while using its websites. Cookies are small amounts of data that are sent to a user’s hard drive that helps a website recognize a user’s individual computer.

Our websites include links to other websites. When you click on one of these links, you are entering another website for which CWLC has no responsibility.  The privacy statements on those sites may be different from CWLC’s.

Changes to Privacy Policy

CWLC reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.  Any modifications will be effective immediately upon positing.


We have taken steps to ensure that personally identifiable information collected in the future is secure, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to our database servers as well as electronic security systems and password protections which guard against unauthorized access.
